After Director Jeeva’s untimely demise his last directorial venture Dham Dhoom, was left incomplete. But now, the film has been completed by his assistant Manikandan and is slated for release on August 15.
The Jeyam Ravi- Kangana Ranaut starrer has been shot extensively in Russia. Lakshmi Rai and Jayaram play important roles. Addressing the media, Manikandan said that the film was a tribute to his mentor Jeeva. The story revolves around Ravi’s character, who returns to india after completing his medical studies from Russia. When invited for a conference to Russia, an unexpected incident occurs, which turns his life upside-down. The rest of the film is about him bringing his life back on track.
Its an action-packed film. I did some risky stunts without using a body-double and I got trained udner Hollywood stunt choreographer Chris Anderson. Talking about his famous kissing scene with Lakshmi Rai he says, It is not a sensuous scene. According to the script, I fall short of breath in the altermath of a freak accident and she gives me a CPR (Mouth to Mouth Resuscitation). You’ll understand it when you see the film. Harris Jayaraj has composed music for the film.
